Khimki Moscow Region gets back on the win column

Coming off eight losses in the last nine games across all competitions, Khimki Moscow Region notched an away victory, 82-77, against Astana on Friday.

Alexey Shved neared his season-high pouring 32 points behind 11/20 field goals. He also dished out nine assists. Jordan Mickey added 16 points and Stefan Jovic scored 14.

On the opposite end, Jeremiah Hill put up a team-high 24 points.

Khimki improved to 7-7 dropping the Kazakhstan side to 4-11.

Zenit Saint-Petersburg holding the league-leading record, 14-2, is scheduled to visit CSKA Moscow tomorrow, Saturday. The team coached by Dimitris Itoudis is 11-4, while UNICS Kazan sits second at 13-4.
