Nizhny Novgorod put up a solid fight, staying close until halftime (40-36) but CSKA Moscow dominated the second part of the game and logged a 92-72 road win in the VTB League.
Iffe Lundberg led the way with 19 points while Tornike Shengelia followed up with 17. Will Clyburn, Johannes Voigtmann, and Ivan Ukhov added 12 points each.
Shengelia and Voigtmann grabbed seven rebounds each while the former also dished out six assists. For Nizhny, Mikhail Kulaign scored 16 against his former team with Aleksandr Gankevich contributing 12 points.
CSKA improved to 3-0 with this win while this was Nizhny’s first game this season.
