Alexey Shved powered CSKA Moscow to the win, 102-86, over Avtodor Saratov Monday.

Shved, 33, dropped a new personal best for the 2021-22 season with 32 points behind 12/20 field goals. Besides scoring, the former NBA player recorded eight assists, six rebounds, and one steal in just over 31 minutes.

Serbian center Nikola Milutinov chipped in 21 points matching his season-best showing. Semen Antonov connected 3/4 from beyond the arc en route for a season-high 15-point effort. Ivan Ukhov had ten points, six assists, and five rebounds at LDS Kristall.

The winning side jumping to 11-3 in the VTB United League Regular Season tied Zenit Saint Petersburg in the second spot of the table. UNICS Kazan is in the lead thanks to a 13-2 record. Fourth-placed Avtodor fell to 8-4.

CSKA last played on February 18. Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing war, Tornike Shengelia, Gabriel Lundberg, Marius Grigonis, Johannes Voigtmann, Joel Bolomboy, and Daniel Hackett have all departed. Meanwhile, all Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games involving the team based in Moscow along with UNICS and Zenit were suspended, until further notice.

The exact same situation evolved for Lokomotiv Kuban in the 7DAYS EuroCup. The Krasnodar club resumed its own VTB campaign edging Enisey, 86-82, earlier at Krasnoyarsk’s Arena North. Goshen product Errick McCollum producing 23 points led his side up to 6-6. The hosts dropped to 3-10 despite Casper Ware’s 24-point, 10-assist double-double.

Monday results:

Enisey Krasnoyarsk – Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar 82-86
Avtodor Saratov – CSKA Moscow 86-102
