Being hosted in the VTB Supercup 2023, Fenerbahce couldn’t get the job done as the Turkish time lost against Lokomotiv Kuban 105-89, losing the opportunity to bring back to Istanbul the trophy.
The former Galatasaray player DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell felt it good and ended the encounter against his former city rivals with 25 points and 9/13 from beyond the arc. The frontcourt duo of Jordan Morgan and Okaro White, already seen in UNICS Kazan, combined for 34 points.
On the other side, Johnathan Motley had 13 points in the losing effort against his former team, where he shone in the 2021-22 7DAYS EuroCup. Marko Guduric had an all-around performance of 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists for the yellow-and-blue team.
