With Keith Langford scoring 18 points and leading the way, Unics Kazan got a comfortable 70-61 win and a 2-0 lead in the VTB League playoffs series.
The hosts never lost the lead after the 21st minute of the game and kept their distance until the final buzzer. After all Nizhny had just 4/25 threes (16%) and this was a major issue for their offense, despite a respectable 53% in two-point shots (20/38). Unics needs now one more win in order to advance in the semifinals.
