Alexander Gankevich will join Spartak on loan from CSKA next season. The 21 years old forward signed a 2+3 contract with CSKA. He has played for CSKA-JBL and CSKA-2 since 2011. Last season Alexander played in 28 tournament games and averaged 8.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.6 blocked shots in 25, 1 minutes.
In the official announcement, the team states: “We wish Alexander won’t stop in the progress and that he will gain valuable experience playing adult basketball, to realize his full potential and to show the best fighting qualities and talent on the court.”
