CSKA Moscow with a 5-0 record remain unbeaten in the VTB League, however the rest of the contenders are right behind the “army team”.

Khimki Moscow Region outlasted Enisey Krasnoyarsk at home (72-64) and Alexey Shved led the way with 23 points. With Vlada Jovanovic as the interim coach with Sasha Obradovic ready to be announced as the new head coach, Lokomotiv Kuban defeated Tsmoki Minsk on the road (87-63) as Matt Janning (18 p.) and Mardy Collins (16 p. 9r.) got the job done. Also Zenit St. Petersburg beat Nizhny Novgorod (101-88) behind 28 points by Ryan Toolson and VEF Riga defeated Avtodor Saratov at home (87-76).

Unics Kazan and Zenit are currently at 5-1, Khimki with just four games under its belt has a 3-1 record, while Lokomotiv and VEF Riga follow at 3-2.
