De Colo leads CSKA to victory over Avtodor, Tsmoki beats Unics in overtime

CSKA Moscow emerged victoriously over Avtodor, as Unics couldn’t outlast Tsmoki in overtime away from home.

CSKA struggled but beat Avtodor in Moscow with 95-80, marking their 14th win in the VTB league.

Once again, Nando De Colo led the winners with his performance of 24 points and 8 assists. James Augustine scored 15, while Cory Higgins and Nikita Kurbanov shared 12 points each.

Even though CSKA had the lead throughout the game, in the third period the visitors dropped the deficit even to 7 points and became a threat for the first time. After 30 minutes, the score was 66-59.

In the final quarter, the hosts restored their lead to double digit marks and sticked to it until the end.

Tsmoki beat Unics in Minsk in overtime, 87-85. After a tight an competitive game in the first 40 minutes, the hosts were able to focus in the extra 5 minutes in order to get away with the win.

A clutch shot by Antonio Graves (19 points) then a 3 -pointer by Justin Gray in the final seconds of overtime killed Unics’ hopes, despite Keith Langford‘s immense contribution of 32 points.

On Saturday, Lokomotiv enjoyed a home victory over Nizhny Novgorod.
