Andrey Vedishchev commented on Khimki’s lack of desire for the win against Lokomotiv, putting in perspective that in case of a victory over Lokomotiv, Khimki would have taken the fifth place and could meet CSKA further down the competition.

“It did not seem to me that Khimki desired to win,” Vedishchev told TASS. “In general, I was surprised, it didn’t seem very professional, especially in front of their crowd”.

Lokomotiv’s President concluded with his team’s goal for the season, regardless of the current standings: “EuroCup has knocked us off, but we will fight for the VTB Final Four and the championship”.
