Unics put on a furious first quarter (40-13) and kept the distance until the end for a 108-84 home win over Kalev for a 2-0 lead in VTB League playoffs.
Maurice Ndour nailed 23 points on 10-12 shooting while adding 12 rebounds followed by Errick McCollum‘s 16 and Melvin Ejim’s 12 points.
For Kalev, Arnett Moultrie banked 16 points and ten boards in addition to Branko Mirkovic’s 14 points.
The series will now move to Kalev’s home court as they try to stay alive in Game 3 on Wednesday (8/5).
