Alexey Shved posted 26 points, six assists, and six rebounds as Khimki Moscow crushed Unics Kazan 91 – 64 in Game 3 of the VTB League semifinals to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series.

Khimki made 18/37 triples and set a record for most 3-pointers made in a VTB League playoffs game. Shved, who received his season MVP award before tipoff, had 6/10 from beyond the arc while Janis Timma added 3/5 en route to finishing with 15 points plus five rebounds. His team got a 15-point lead, 43 – 28, at halftime and dominated the rest of the game.

Unics didn’t manage to keep up at all. Dimitris Priftis’ players shot 22/63 from the field and fell to their opponents’ superior firepower.

Errick McCollum had 15 points and Raymar Morgan 12 for Unics. The team from Kazan will have to win a do-or-die Game 4 (29/5) on the road to bring the series back home. Khimki advances with a victory.
