CSKA Moscow’s budget for the 2018-19 season at 40.7 million euros

VTB United League presents the budgets of its nine Russian clubs.

CSKA Moscow is once again the biggest spender among the Russian teams in the VTB United League. The “Army Team” is also among the clubs with the highest budgets in Europe while topping VTB’s list for the 2018-19 season with 40.7 million euros. The budget includes operating costs of the team, not only the players’ salaries.

Khimki Moscow Region remained in second place rising its budget from 22.7 million euros to 33.3 and Zenit Saint Petersburg combined its EuroLeague berth with the climb to third place with 26.7 million euros of expenses. Lokomotiv Kuban is now fourth with 18.6

UNICS Kazan is the fifth team with a budget over 10 million euros, 14.2 to be exact. Nizhny Novgorod with 6.2 million euros, Parma Perm with 3.3, Enisey Krasnoyarsk with 3.3 and Avtodor Saratov with 3 round up the bottom end of the list.

Apart the nine Russian sides, Astana from Kazakhstan, Kalev/Cramo from Estonia, Tsomki Minsk from Belarus and Stelmet Enea Zielona Gora from Poland will also compete in the 2019-20 edition of the VTB United League.
