Sam Dekker and Johnny O’Bryant led Lokomotiv Kuban to a home win against Unics Kazan in VTB League

Sam Dekker and Johnny O’Bryant partnered up and led Lokomotiv Kuban to an 86-77 home win over UNICS Kazan in VTB League. Lokomotiv improved to 2-1 while Unics now holds a 1-2 record.

Dekker scored 18 points on 9-12 shooting while O’Bryant logged 16 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Dmitry Kulagin added 14 points in addition to Alan Williams’ 12 points and ten boards.

For Unics, Errick McCollum banked game-high 22 points followed by Jamar Smith with 18 (4-6 triples) and Alex Tyus with 13 points.

The hosts were ahead 18-14 after ten minutes and had a double-digit lead at halftime (42-31). Unics made a comeback and even held a six-point lead (62-56) in the third quarter but Lokomotiv took over in the fourth turning the tables and securing the win.
