Despite a slow start, UNICS Kazan managed to recover and eventually grab a narrow 89-88 road win against Parma Perm in VTB League. UNICS improved to 4-3 while Parma stayed at one win (1-6).
Jamar Smith led the charge with 31 points followed by Errick McCollum‘s 18 and Raymar Morgan’s 12 points.
For Parma, Adas Juskevicius nailed game-high 34 points 7-11 fro deep while Mareks Mejeris added 15 points.
Parma was ahead 19-8 early and 44-39 at halftime. They still had a slight upper hand in the third quarter (66-64) but UNICS kept it a one-possession game throughout the fourth quarter and prevailed, in the end, led by Smith.
