Khimki Moscow defeated Nizhny Novgorod away from home with a 113-87 victory and exceeded its perfect streak in VTB League to nine games.
Alexey Shved and Jeremy Evans got the job done for Khimki with 23 and 21 points each in a game that turned out to be a scoring feast right from the first half.
Khimki led the course 63-44 at halftime, and they never looked back after the break, en route to one more needed victory to keep them on top of the league’s standings with a 9-0 record.
The only issue for Khimki is that Stefan Jovic missed the game due to back pain, and it remains to be seen if his condition will keep him out of the next contests of the club.
