Lokomotiv Kuban made a big comeback run late in the game and handed Khimki Moscow their first loss in VTB League this season

Although it seemed as though Khimki Moscow will stay undefeated in VTB League, Lokomotiv Kuban made a 20-2 late in the game to grab a 94-89 road win.

Will Cummings led the way with 19 points followed by Mindaugas Kuzminskas with 18. Alan Williams logged a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

For Khimki, Alexey Shved banked 22 points in addition to Jeremy Evans’ 13 and Jonas Jerebko’s 12 points.

Earlier, Zenit St Petersburg dominated Avtodor Saratov in a 109-66 road win and improved to a 5-6 record.

Will Thomas led the way with game-high 30 points (4-6 threes) while Mateusz Ponitka added 16 (4-7 threes) and Colton Iverson 13 points.

Anton Pushkov notched a double-double with ten points and 11 boards while for Saratov, Markel Starks scored 15 and Elgin Cook 12 points. Mouhammadou Jaiteh helped with 11 points and nine boards.

Khimki stayed at the top with 11-1 in front of CSKA with 9-3 while Lokomotiv follows with 7-3 and UNICS with a 6-4 record.
