Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul will make its return to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with a prolific scorer in tow after announcing on Friday the signing of Justin Dentmon, who was the competition’s runner-up in scoring in the 2013-14 season with Zalgiris Kaunas.

Dentmon (1.83 meters, 30 years old) averaged 16.8 points on 44.3% three-point shooting plus 4.1 assists in 24 EuroLeague games that season. His 74 three-pointers that season set a single-season EuroLeague record that stood until All-EuroLeague guard Mios Teodosic made 77 for CSKA Moscow last season. Since then he has played in China for Qingdao and Sichuan and in the D-League for Texas. Dentmon has also played in the NBA (San Antonio, Toronto and Dallas), Israel (Hapoel Afula), Dominican Republic (Cocolos de San Pedro de Macoris), Italy (EA7 Emporio Armani Milan), Puerto Rico, (Capitanes de Arecibo) and in the D-League (Texas and Austin).
