The President and CEO of the CSKA Mopscow Andrei Vatutin was attacked by unknown persons on Monday night and he was beaten with a rubber hammer, while he was exiting a store and was approaching his car.
Vatutin is currently hospitalized with injuries on the head, hands and feet and the police is investigating the incident. “We as the VTB League are shocked by what happened. We all wish Andrei a speedy recovery, we are very worried about him and what happened was really disturbing”, said Alexander Fedotov, deputy general director of VTB United League to Sport-Express.
