Despite the defeat, Zeljko Obradovic didn’t have anything bad to say about his players who are more than tired and also have to face Galatasaray in the Turkish BSL in two days.
The coach of Fenerbahce said after the game against Panathinaikos: “I am very proud of my players, because we played four games in seven days last week. It’s obvious that the starters are a little bit tired and it’s difficult, every time I tried to make a substitution in the game. They did an excellent job today. We were tired and that’s why Panathinaikos scored easy basket in transition, plus with have a very big game on Saturday against Galatasaray. We will try to find energy and to play this game”.
Of course, once more Obradovic was hailed as a hero from the fans of Panathinaikos and as he said: “I want to thank the people of Panathinaikos for the way they treated me. It’s always special for me to come back and it’s obvious. I want to wish them the best for the future”.
