All-Euroleague guard Malcolm Delaney will continue his career in the NBA. According to Shams Charania of Yahoo. The American combo guard has agreed to a guaranteed two-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks.
This is a dream come true for Delaney who had turned down many offers from some European basketball powerhouses in order to pursuit his goal of playing in the best league in the world.
Delaney arrives to Atlanta and the Hawks from Russian club Lokomotiv Kuban, with which he spent the best season of his career in Europe, averaging 16.3 points, 5.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game. He was also named to the All-Euroleague first team, while leading the team to the competition’s Final Four, a first-time achievement for the club.
