Adrien Moerman’s “business as usual” double-double led Darussafaka Dogus through an excellent second half over Yesilgiresun on the road and a 80 – 61 victory.

The French forward was highly productive in an all-around style of 24 points (5/7 two-pointers, 4/6 three-pointers), 12 rebounds plus 5 assists. Together with Scottie Wilbekin (15 points, 4 assists) they helped Darussafaka Dogus break down the resilience that Yesilgiresun was showing during the first half as it was expressed by 20-year-old Okben Ulubay (25 points, 3 rebounds)

Although struggling with a diminished roster and few qualitative options, the hosts stayed in close pursuit for almost 23 minutes, after trailing only by one, 36 – 37 at halftime. Yet it didn’t take long after the return of the locker rooms for Darussafaka’s superiority to take control.

James Anderson (11 points) also scored in double-digit numbers for the Dacka while Anthony Gil had 13 for the losing side. The record of coach Blatt’s team now stands at 7 – 3, while Yesilgiresun fell to 5-5.
