It was a tense Tuesday for the basketball champions league with four players being ejected in the game Venezia versus Karisyaka after a brawl and Usak’s coach Ozan Bulkaz attacking verbally the referees of the game against PAOK.

DaJuan Summer and Kevin Dillard from Karsiyaka as also Jamelle Haggins and Tyus McGee from Venezia were ejected, while Bulkaz said after the game: “I congratulate PAOK for their win. But poor performance of the officials is overshadowing their victory. If those wrong calls are not going to be punished after a game broadcasted live, it is going to hurt this organisation and damage its prestige.

FIBA, Euroleague, officials, rules… These are all points of argument. Everybody should watch this game. Officials were here here not to really officiate but just handle the game to the end. These conditions would hurt not us but FIBA. It is only a defeat for us. But under these conditions this tournament are not going to be taken seriously. We take this tournament seriously. We train and take flights for the away games. We spend good money to participate. But officials are not prepared for the games unlike us”.
