AEK is about to complete a kinda surprising transfer by adding Giannoulis Larentzakis to its roster.

The 23-year old guard has been in the list of potential players by the club since last year, however some weeks ago he signed a four-year contract that Zaragoza offered him.

Yet it seems that the player will not wear the red colors of the Spanish team, but the yellow and black of AEK, that is determined to pay the buy-out of 25.000 euros.

Larentzakis is in Heraklion, Crete right now and as soon as he returns to Athens in a couple of days, his transfer in AEK is expected to be announced. The Greek team has agreed with the player and finalizes the talks with Zaragoza.

The Greek guard will sign a four-year contract with AEK, similar to the one which he had agreed with the ACB team.
