Aleks Maric is preparing for the first appearance of his career at the Olympic as a member of the Australian national team and it seems that in London he will not have anxiety about his next team after Panathinaikos.
His contract with the Greens ended and although at early summer there were many interesting teams, Maric hasn’t received yet a good offer from a top Euroleague team. Maccabi Tel Aviv and Caja Laboral for example, didn’t give him a contract and he was worried about his future.
Lokomotiv Kuban, however, decided recently to “hunt” him and the two sides seem to be closing to an agreement. If the deal goes through, Maric will find in Krasnodar his former teammate Nick Calathes.
