American guard Trent Lockett reached a deal with Sevilla for one season with option for another. Lockett, 25, has experience in several European leagues like the German and the Italian.
The player attended High School in Hopkins (Minnesota) and demonstrated his scoring abilities which were later confirmed in his university. In 2009 he debuted in the NCAA with the University of Arizona State and averaged 6.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game.
Despite not being drafted in 2013, he signed with the Sacramento Kings after playing summer league, although he was on loan to Reno Bighorns in the D-League, averaging 11 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
Two summers ago he made his overseas debut with Löwen Braunschweig of the German Bundesliga.
After playing with the Indiana Pacers summer league NBA in 2015, he was signed by Trento, averaging 11.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists in the Italian league and 11.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the Eurocup.
