After taking down Cibona 69-56 in Belgrade, Crvena Zvezda can rest assured that will enter the ABA league playoffs while holding the first place position in the standings.
Ognjen Kuzmic and Luka Mitrovic led the hosts, scoring 12 points each, while Nate Wolters contributed 11.
None of Cibona’s players reached double-figure marks in scoring, with Ante Gospic leading with 9.
Still, the visitors were rather competitive in the second half, despite Zvezda’s early 40-29 advantage at halftime. In the final period, Cibona dropped the deficit to single-digits and even threatened before Mitrovic and Wolters taking charge.
