Crvena Zvezda stepped victoriously into the ABA League semifinals by beating Buducnost in Belgrade.

Crvena Zvezda has taken the lead in the semi-finals clash against Buducnost by winning the first clash 82-67 in front of 6,000 Red and White fans. Game 2 will take place on March 28.

Marko Simonović and Marko Gudurić were the top scorers of the hosts with 18 points each, while the former and Ognjen Kuzmic both collected a 21 index rating.

The hosts kept increasing their lead gradually, while they recorded their largest one in the third quarter. Marko Gudurić scored three consecutive 3-pointers, then Milko Bjelica made a shot from downtown, while when Nate Wolters nailed his 3-pointer and the result was 60-40 for the hosts after 30 minutes.

Notably, Buducnost only made 6 three-pointers in the game, with a 1/17 strike until the end of the third quarter.
