On Day 22 of ABA Adriatic League, Cedevita Zagreb found the strength in front of the home crowd to come back from a double-digit deficit and defeat Partizan NIS 85-75.

With this win, Cedevita is temporarily taking the second place with a 17-5 record but the game between Buducnost VOLI and FMP will decide if they stay there.

The game was tied 71-71 with five minutes left, but Cedevita managed to pull away with three shots beyond the arc and seal their win without trouble.

The biggest difference in this game was the great 3-point shooting from Cedevita as they hit 14 beyond the arc buckets. They were led by Damir Markota who scored 15 points, while Dzanan Musa added 14 points.

On the other side, Kwame Donte Vaughn scored 20 points.

The game started better for Cedevita as they built up a 17-10 lead seven and a half minutes in the game, but then the guests took over. Partizan made a huge 21-3 run in five and a half minutes to build a double-digit lead (31-20). The Croatian team didn’t panic, especially Musa who stopped his opponents run with five consecutive points.

The home players regained the upper hand after the break but never more than seven points and Partizan managed to take this game to an interesting finish that saw Cedevita victorious.
