Before signing his new contract with Baskonia, Adam Hanga had filed a complaint against the club for owed money.

Adam Hanga penned a new, three-year deal with Baskonia, following the club’s matching offer to what Barcelona and the player had previously agreed.

Some days before signing the contract that seems to keep him in Vitoria at least for the upcoming season, the Hungarian swingman had filed an official complaint to ACB regarding missing paychecks from the previous season.

As Mundo Deportivo reports, Hanga claims that Baskonia still owes him the sum of 200.000 euros, a large part of the money he should have received by this month.

After repeatedly asking for the payment of the above sum, the 2017 EuroLeague DPOY decided to make an appeal to the “Wages Guarantee Fund” (Fondo de Garantía Salarial) in order to receive the money that the club owes him.
