Kostas Vasileiadis scored 18 points and Iberostar Tenerife beat Joventut Badalona 77 -75 to stay close to the playoff zone in the Spanish League.
This victory improved Tenerife to 13 – 11 and the ninth place in the standings where eighth Gran Canaria is 14 – 9 with one game less. Meanwhile, Badalona fell to 4 – 19 and at the bottom of standings.
Tenerife won easier than what the final score shows since they were up by 8, 77 – 69 with seconds remaining. The visiting squad just chewed that deficit in the last moments of the game.
Rodrigo San Miguel added 11 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds for Tenerife. Nikolas Laprovitolla dropped 15 points and dished out 5 assists while Patrick Richard scored 14 for Badalona.
