Payne himself announced Thursday that after 6 years of playing basketball overseas, he’s hanging up the shoes.

All for good cause, as the -now- former player got offered his “dream job” back home. As he mentions, he will become an advisor at a top financial firm, helping people manage and invest their money, while he also notes that he will be working with athletes.

He began his career in the third division of Spain with CB Axarquia, then joined Unicaja Malaga for the 2011-12 season. Next on he spent two seasons in Greece, with Panionios and PAOK, before moving to France for Chalons-Reims and Limoges.
