Bayern Munich edged Alba Berlin in the Top Four semifinal

It was a close game between two almost equal teams, but Bayern Munich closed it the right way and got the ticket to the German Top Four Cup final.

The team of coach Sasha Djordjevic secured the 78-70 win over Alba Berlin thanks to a 5-0 run in the last one and a half minute of the game. Alba managed to cut the lead to three points (73-70) but Nick Johnson and Reggie Redding made their free throws, while their opponents missed their long range shots attemps.

Team captain Redding scored in total 17 points, Johnson was the top scorer with 19 and Max Kleber added 11. Dragan Milosavljevic was the only scorer in double digits (17 p.) for Alba.

Bayern Munich will face in the final the winner of the Brose Bamberg – Ludwigsburg semifinal.
