The withdrawal of injured Pelicans‘ forward Anthony Davis from the NBA All Star Game opened the door to Dirki Nowitzki. The legendery German star will be an All Star for the 13th time in the past 14 seasons.

Commissioner Adam Silver was the one who decided the replacement of Anthony and one more European star will be on the court of NBA’s biggest celebration.  Nowitzki is the highest-scoring player born outside the United States in NBA history and he surpassed Moses Malone for seventh place on the league’s all-time scoring list last month.
