Sergey Bazarevich called seven more players to the preparation camp of the Russian national team that now stands at 18-men-strong.

The first training sessions of the Russian national team ahead of the EuroBasket are beginning with the participation of 18 players.

Head coach Sergey Bazarevich had named 11 players to the preliminary squad on early June and today, seven more were added to the group.

June calls: Evgeny Baburin, Dmitry Khvostov (both Lokomotiv-Kuban), Dmitry Kulagin, Vitaly Fridzon (CSKA Moscow), Alexey Shved (Khimki Moscow), Semen Antonov, Andrei Vorontsevich, Nikita Kurbanov (CSKA), Andrey Zubkov (Khimki Moscow), Sergey Karasev (Zenit St. Petersburg) and Timofey Mozgov (Brooklyn Nets).

July additions: Vyacheslav Zaitsev (Khimki, Moscow), Mikhail Kulagin (CSKA Moscow), Maxim Kolyushkin, Vladimir Ivlev, Stanislav Ilnitsky (both with Lokomotiv-Kuban), Vladislav Trushkin (UNICS Kazan) and Anton Pushkov (Zenit, St. Petersburg),

The preparation of the Russian team will begin on July 24. Russia will compete in Group D of the EuroBasket together with Serbia, Belgium, Great Britain, Latvia and hosts Turkey.
