After dropping their first game to Finland, France has now managed back-to-back wins against Greece and Iceland, beating the latter by a final score of 115-79. One of the favorites of this year’s competition is looking better game-by-game and managed to break their Eurobasket points record with 115 points.

The star: Nando de Colo was superb for France with 16 points, 4 assists and 5 steals. Thomas Heurtel also had a nice all-around game with 9 points 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

The key: Iceland was very competitive in the 1st quarter and managed to keep the game within reach, (29-25). As the game progressed, France pulled away methodically and finished the half with a 7 point lead (48-42). It was all France, in the second half as they mounted to a double-digit lead in the third pretty much blew the game open.

Jon Arnor Steffanson led the way for the losing side finishing the game with 23 points and 7 rebounds in 23:38 minutes.
