Mantas Kalnietis, the Lithuanian 31-year old point guard, is averaging 6.8 assists per game in the Eurobasket. With the 11 assists he dished against Ukraine, he moved to the third place on the all-time assists list in Eurobasket history.
With Milos Teodosic not being able to participate in this Eurobasket, Kalnietis surpassed him on the all-time assists list and now has 187 assists.
The only players above him are Sarunas Jasikevicious with 219 assists and Tony Parker with 228 assists.
