The Serbian club is not allowed to sign new players due to unpaid salaries to its former player.

Kevin Jones played for Partizan during the 2015-16 season and the club still owes him two salaries from that period. The case went to BAT, the arbitration court for that kind of cases, and until Jones is paid, Partizan will not be able to sign new players.

“We owe Kevin two salaries, but it is not a lot of money. We gonna pay him that soon as we can”, said Dragan Todoric, sports director of Partizan Belgrade, to Mozzart Sport.

It’s not unusual for players to end up in BAT in order to get past debts paid from clubs all around Europe.
