Speaking about the club he owns, Tony Parker clarified that ASVEL is going to play in the Eurocup next season and he hopes that in two years there will be a spot in the EuroLeague.
As he explained to SFR Sport: “Our goal is winning back to back titles in France and then playing in the highest possible level in Europe. This would be the Eurocup for the upcoming season. I am in contact with the EuroLeague since the moment I become the owner of the club. We hope to be part of the EuroLeague in two years”.
Parker is referring to the possible EuroLeague expansion, since the 16 teams for next season are almost set and they will not include a French club.
