American shooting guard Erick Green is signing a contract with 2017 Liga Endesa champions Valencia, according to Eurohoops sources.

A charismatic scorer, Green, 25, became a free agent following the decision of Olympiacos to opt out of the second year of the contract the two sides penned in the previous summer. Valencia offered him a deal that was economically sufficient to keep him in Europe where Green will continue playing in the top-tier continental competition since the “Taronja” are EuroLeague bound for 2017/2018.

During the previous season, Green averaged 9.9 points (shooting 40% – 48/120 from beyond the arc) and 1.9 rebounds in 20 minutes per game in EuroLeague while the Reds reached the Final.
