While Unicaja Malaga had more than advanced talks with the player, Baskonia entered the scene trying to add him to their roster, while he was ready almost ready to sign his contract with Unicaja.
At this point it remains unclear how things will be resolved, Baskonia wants an immediate answer, however Huertas has not decided his future yet.
Meanwhile Baskonia has not received yet any buy out offer for Adam Hanga, who will remain a player of the team with his new three year deal that was initially offered by Barcelona and then matched by the Vitoria club.
