The name of Jordan McRae has been mentioned before, however according to “Noticias De Alava” he is currently the favorite to sign for one of the two roster spots for non European players, which are still open in the team.
There have been also reports about a possible deal with the player, still one of the main issues in Baskonia remains the future of Adam Hanga and without a conclusion in this serial, nothing else can be completed. One week ago the talks between Baskonia and Barcelona about Hanga picked up speed, but at this point Hanga there’s no deal for a possible transfer.
With Hanga on the roster, it seems that one of the other top targets of the club, Jayson Granger, can be signed together with McRae, because there’s also the need for one more big man. The whole situation remains complicated and the clock for the ucoming season is ticking.
