Zeljko Obradovic spoke to the press after the Olimpia MilanoFenerbahce game and shared an interesting take on the ongoing conflict about the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

More precisely, the Serbian coach noted that “Everybody is talking about FIBA and Euroleague, but the problem is between FIBA and NBA”.

He justified this quote with his explanation further on: “There are 130 international players in the NBA. 75 of them are from Europe and they won’t be called to the national team.”

Speaking about the game, Obradovic said: “We tried to be more aggressive defensively and in the second half we played a good game. But the players must understand a game is 40 minutes. iIn the crucial minutes, when it should have been easy for us to close the game, we had some very bad plays on defense which allowed them to come back. But this is a very important victory. It was the first time Milan played at home this season, they have a new team and a new coach and they need time, but they’re a good team.”
