Marcus Denmon will continue living in Athens for at least one more year, as Panathinaikos decided to keep him.

The front office of Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens and head coach Xavi Pascual have agreed to keep the 28-year old shooting guard in the roster for the upcoming 2018-2019 season.

When Denmon signed with the Greek team, he had agreed on a 1+1 year deal, with a team option on year two. The ‘Greens’ activated the option and decided to keep the American guard.

The decision to keep Marcus Denmon has nothing to do with Nick Calathes and his case, even if his (Denmon’s)percentages increased a whole lot (41.7% 3FG in EuroLeague) while playing next to Panathinaikos‘ playmaker (Calathes).
