Pinar Karsiyaka guard Dominic Waters has been removed from the roster of the team following a decision by head coach Alex Trifunovic and the management of the Turkish club.

The main reasons behind Waters’ demotion have to do with what the club considers as lackluster performances in recent games, and the many technical fouls he’s been called with.

Waters has been averaging 15.2 points plus 6.7 assists per game this season in the Basketball Champions League. He had 10 points (3/7 from the field) plus 5 turnovers in last night’s loss to PAOK in Thessaloniki.

There won’t be a transfer to replace Waters. Instead, Turkish guard Berk Ugurlu (on loan from Fenerbahce) is expected to receive more playing time and an upgraded role within the team.
