Panathinaikos beat Koroivos in Amaliada 76-55 in the finale of Round 16 of the Greek league. The Greens now stand in the second position of the standings behind Olympiacos.
Pascual used all of his players that were available in his rotation, though it was Alessandre Gentile who led the visiting team with 12 points.
Early in the game, Panathinaikos grabbed a double digit lead, while Koroivos’ poor shooting percentages didn’t allow a better performance to the hosts. At halftime, the latter had reduced to 24-39. Still, after the break, Panathinaikos accelerated and even expanded their lead to 21 points in the third quarter.
