In a clash between two Basketball Champions League teams, PAOK blew away AEK 86 – 65 in front of its home crowd in Thessaloniki.
It was the team’s fifth victory in a row in the Greek League and it arrived thanks to Phil Goss’ 18 points and 4 assists plus the 14 points by Dimitris Katsivelis.
Vassilis Kavvadas scored 16 and captain Dusan Sakota 12 for AEK that looked affected by fatigue after their road win over Estudiantes in BCL.
In Kymi, Thadeous McFadden dropped 29 points leading the local team to a blowout victory over 94 – 69 Aris Thessaloniki. Michalis Tsairelis had 15 for the losing squad.
