Giannis Antetokounmpo is registering some of the most impressive numbers ever seen by a player of the Milwaukee Bucks. In fact, his numbers can only be compared with those of legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The Greek point-forward became only the second player in franchise history to reach mark of 500 rebounds, 100 blocks and 100 steals in a single season, as the Bucks announced.
After last night’s game vs the Denver Nuggets, Giannis tallies 504 rebounds, 103 blocks and 100 steals.
In 1971, Abdul-Jabbar led the Bucks to the only championship title in the history of the club, being also named Finals MVP. Giannis has said time and again that it’s his dream to help his team win the league, much like the iconic NBA center did back in the day.
