According to sources from the side of the player, Larkin has decided to sign a minimum contract with the Boston Celtics for next season, which is in his case includes a $1,5 million salary because he has already played for three seasons in the NBA. According to the same sources, the contract is fully guaranteed.

After Baskonia decision to match the offer that the player got from Barcelona using the “tanteo” right, Larkin could sign a new contract with Baskonia – something that was his intention – or sign a new contract with an other club outside Spain.

“Tanteo” is the Spanish version of the restricted free agency and Larkin found the way out by returning to the NBA to be part of a title contender.

Meanwhile Adam Hanga whose case was identical to that of Larkin, should be considered a player of Baskonia unless a team wants to buy him out.
