Ironi Ness Ziona completely dominated the second half and escaped with a huge win from Tel Aviv 85 – 76. Hapoel Holon tied Maccabi at the top of the standings with 18 rounds played.
The Israeli powerhouse was leading 35 – 43 at the half but struggled in the third (26 – 13) and completed the upset in the fourth. Khalif Wyatt destroyed the Maccabees with 23 points and 6-of-7 from beyond the arc.
John DiBartolomeo played 37 minutes and led Maccabi Tel Aviv with 18 points while Norris Cole had 16.
Ness Ziona jumped to a 7-11 record and remain in playoffs spots.
