SIG Strasbourg dominated Bourg Basket 93 – 64 in the Round of 16. Vincent Collet’s squad is the first team to get a ticket for the quarterfinals that will take place in Trelaze on March 24 and 25.
Dee Bost paced the winners with 21 points and 5 assists while Damien Inglis added 13 points. Zachery Peacock had 17 and 7 boards for Bourg.
After a great defensive first quarter (19 – 12), Strasbourg went into a 17 – 2 run that almost decided the game. Bourg tried to reduce the difference starting the second half (55 – 45, 24′) but they had no chance of fighting for the victory.
